Cartwright Fitness provides a wide variety of monitoring and measuring equipment to assess aerobic capacity for both health-related client profiles and established athletes. Aerobic capacity is a fundamental component of an individual’s cardiovascular health and is impacted upon by regular cardiovascular/respiratory training. Measuring aerobic fitness provides information on how efficiently the body can deliver and utilise oxygen at the cellular level. Monitoring and measuring aerobic capacity can act as a motivational tool for maintaining and improving current fitness levels. Evaluating aerobic fitness is also excellent for mandatory selection processes whereby fitness levels are of high importance to undertake one’s duties efficiently; such as the police, ambulance and fire services.
